Meet Makita! This is the name the Slaton Animal Shelter here in Texas gave her. Pawsitive Trailways, LLC was hired again by SafeHART/SafeHaven Animal Rescue Team to transport this beautiful gal to their Akita rescue in Klondike, Texas. She is such a good pup! I'm happy to say this big ball of fluff is now safe and sound! Congrats, Makita! Enjoy your new environment!

What a rewarding transport! It was a great coordinated effort on all sides. All 20 rescues are safe and sound. I would like to thank SafeHart/SafeHaven Animal Rescue Team for hiring Pawsitive Trailways, LLC to transport all these beautiful souls to Pottstown. 
In addition, I want to commend Sarah Koda for the work that she does. She rescues because it is what she loves to do and isn't affiliated with any 501c non-profit organization. 
On this transport, we had 2 sets of puppy litters totaling 14 plus 1 individual pup and 5 adults. The 2 terriers pictured above were rescued by Sarah from a puppy mill. Terrified of everything and everyone trapped in the kennel with never a human touch. As you can see, Misty finally let me pet her through the kennel. It was a very touching moment.
